Ever the preferred habitat of pink flamingos, the Molentargius park (in Sardinian, "molenti" refers to teh donkey used to carry salt extracted from the ponds). A huge ecosystem that hosts different species of mammals, amphibians and lots of aquatic birds. It is worth visiting either on foot or by bicycle.
